Richard Bounds
Real Sales Manager is a project that Richard Bounds has been involved with since inception. It addresses the need to provide structure, best practice and a sounding board for new and aspiring sales managers. Richard spent many years as an Individual Contributor, progressing early in his career to a sales management role before moving to sell complex, multi-million pound solutions. He has been a sales leader for the last 15 years as an executive leader for large global players such as OpenText, Software AG, Box-it (board member during aggressive scale-up) and start-up leading to trade sale at Netscient.
Most recently managing a 40 plus sales team with over $200M ARR to achieve over 30% year on year growth before establishing his own Sales Leadership business Leapsand. Offering Fractional/Interim Leadership and Sales Coaching to smaller, ambitious, growing businesses who want to accelerate the growth of their sales teams, progress pipeline and increase sales.
Richard lives with his partner Vicky and chocolate labrador Buster near Fleet in Hampshire, with 2 grown-up children each. Hobbies include cycling, running, hiking, Spurs and generally being outdoors!
